Motion Capture Justice League

Alright, I saw this yesterday, and I didn't even think anything of it, just dismissed it as yet another Justice League movie rumor. BUT, apparently this rumor has cracked the Internet in half today, so I figure I'd be remiss if I didn't weigh in.

Yesterday the rumor broke that the Justice League movie could be a motion-capture flick, ala the Polar Express.

How many different rumors have we had surrounding this movie already? First Brandon Routh rumors, then the postponing "Man of Steel" rumors, then Christian Bale, then Ryan Reynolds. I'm not getting hooked on any idea until we have evidence.

But, this particular rumor makes sense and confuses all at once. On the one hand, this would help the problem of this movie's budget exceeding 4 billion between the star actors and special effects.

On the other hand, would a motion-capture movie satisfy what Warner Bros. wanted out of this movie? They wanted to have their movie to compete with the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises, a live-action team super-flick. Also, if they made this movie, would it really be THAT MUCH different or THAT MUCH better than a whole lot of the Justice League Animated cartoons that are already out there?

I don't think this rumor will turn out to be anything more than one theory currently being kicked around by Warner Bros, a theory that will be shot down.
